RBA cites Europe as main reason for June rate cut

The Reserve Bank of Australia cited instability in Europe and its impact on commodities as the main reason for the rate cut in June.

In the minutes of 5 June 2012 by the RBA released today, it was developments in Europe that RBA took the initiative to reduce the official cash rate by another 25 basis points to 3.5 per cent as a precautionary measure.
